I-AIMH Competencies

I-AIMH Competency Guidelines ®

In order to develop workforce capacity in the area of Infant Mental Health, and to bring attention to the importance of the pre-birth to 3 stage of development, I-AIMH purchased the licence to use MI-AIMH Competency Guidelines® for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health® from The Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health. The competencies provide a professional framework for professionals to advance infant mental health knowledge, best practice skills and the development of reflective practice experiences within work settings across all sectors and disciplines working on promotion, prevention, treatment and intervention and policy.
