I-AIMH is delighted to announce the launch of their Professional Competency Guidelines for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship Focused Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health ®.
I-AIMH is the first affiliate of W-AIMH in Europe to have the licencing agreement to implement the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health (MI-AIMH) Competency Guidelines ®

– Voices of Experience: Infant Mental Health in action. Three services present their experiences of translating science into practice:
1) A universal area based childhood setting in Young Knocknaheeny Cork: Tracie Lane (Infant Parent Support), Grace Walsh (Senior Oral Language Officer), and Catherine Maguire (Infant Mental Health Specialist IMHE© IV) share their insights in translating science to practice
2) Primary Care in South Tipperary: 3 Clinical Psychologists present their work over the past ten years- Fionnuala O’Shea,Rosarii O’Donnell Connorton, and Audrey Lonergan
3) Temple Street Children’s University Hospital: Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and Senior Mental Health Social Worker in St Frances Clinic- Julie Ann Lyons presents her experiences
– Introduction to Reflective Supervision
– Live Supervision Session with Dr. Deborah Weatherston (Executive Director, Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health at the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health (MI-AIMH)
– Q+A, reflections and final thoughts for the day
16:30 – 17:30 – IAIMH AGM: The day will finish with the IAIMH AGM.
